Dear Sirs and Brothers:

Attached you will find revised rate sheets for the former BN portion of BNSF reflecting the latest COLA increase of $.15 per hour, effective July 1, 2005. In addition, you will find the revised rates for the Guaranteed Extra Boards and the Special Pay Differentials.

The COLA increase is applicable to all classes of service. The $.15 per hour COLA increases the basic daily rate of pay by $1.20 (8 hr: x $.15/hr.) for each class of service. The over mile rates of pay, both regular and Article VIII over miles, are increased by $.0120 per mile as a result of the COLA.

Meetings are planned to review the rate increases for the assignments operating under trip rates. A letter will be forthcoming in regard to this, if necessary.

Please add these rate sheets to your files and call the Office if any further questions arise.
